Rick Byers
Longevity Home Solutions was born out of the necessity that millions experience today. Owner of Longevity Home Solutions, Rick Byers, was born into the construction industry and has practiced many aspects of residential new construction, multi family, lite commercial and development; but his experience with aging parents beginning in the early 2000’s changed the course of his career and business goals.

Adaptability seems to be the key to dealing with life's challenges. Many people today face changes in their health, lifestyle and family and find it necessary to adapt their home to those changes. Aging parents, working from home, children, a changed in someone's health can cause a person to wonder how they will function in their existing home.

Rick Byers had to take his years of experience in construction and adapt to his own changing family. His parents, like many people in their retirement years, did not want to go to a facility when accessibility and maneuverability suddenly became an issue. This was an invaluable experience in caretaking was what inspired Rick to become a
certified Age-In-Place specialist. Through the training, education and hands-on experience, he has been able to not only guide families in the home modification for aging in place but also families with members of all ages in need of special adaptations for safety, mobility and accessibility .
Rick and Longevity Home Solutions now designs and builds new homes as well as retrofitting existing houses for changing needs such as health challenges, multi-generational living, and accessibility issues. We can offer outstanding, state-of-the-art bathrooms, kitchens, basements and in-law suites as well as adding elevators, wheelchair lifts and ramps to homes to suit the current design.
